Abstract | |
Since launched the first satellite in 1998, Taiwan became one of the space club in the world. Except to the necessity of military force, scientific research and weather prediction, using satellite remote sensing data and global position information become more and more popular to common people, so as to the government. Nonetheless, people who live in this Big Island seldom care about how government used this high technology control and monitor method against to the people or for the people. Even in academy, there is very few scholars ever expressed their comments on this issue. After do some searches in judicial reviews, there still hardly could find any legal principle whether the government may use satellite to monitor or even control the people or even natural environment. Even so, the author still tries to collect some useful verdict data to illustrate the principle and the practical situation about the satellite surveillance in Taiwan Higher Court. |
